DESCRIPTION
The K-Brake™ ultracompact suppressor brake, is a breakthrough in compact recoil control. Developed through a rigorous, data-driven program, this suppressor brake uses proprietary CDC™ (Convergent–Divergent–Convergent) bore geometry to deliver near full-size suppressor-brake recoil reduction in an exceptionally short, lightweight form—while remaining fully hearing-safe.
CDC™ is a precisely tuned internal profile that manages gas expansion within an ultrashort volume, maximizing recoil-reduction efficiency with minimal sound trade-off. Instrumented testing using a ballistic recoil pendulum and high-fidelity acoustic measurements demonstrated the highest observed recoil-reduction gain relative to sound increase when evaluated against multiple competing benchmark suppressor brakes. When tested on a TiTrex™-300 suppressor with a .308 Win platform, the K-Brake™ suppressor brake delivered a 67% increase in overall recoil reduction compared to a traditional front cap, with only minimal change in sound pressure at the shooter’s ear. Additional testing confirmed that this performance scales effectively across centerfire rifle cartridges from .17 through .36 caliber.
Designed for real-world use, the K-Brake™ suppressor brake excels in hunting, competition, and tactical applications—especially on hard-recoiling cartridges where recoil control directly impacts accuracy and follow-up speed. Caliber-specific versions of the suppressor brake further optimize performance when matched to the host rifle.
Despite its performance, the K-Brake™ suppressor brake adds just 0.165 inches to overall suppressor length compared to a standard front cap. The attachment installs via Precision Armament’s OPEN SOURCE® front interface (1.420–24 UN), which is dimensionally identical to the SilencerCo® Bravo-pattern interface—allowing compatibility across a wide range of suppressor systems. Manufactured using Precision Armament’s Class 3+™ thread specification, the attachment resists carbon locking while ensuring accurate, repeatable alignment under heavy use.
Compact, rugged, and uncompromising, the K-Brake™ ultracompact suppressor brake sets a new standard for suppressor-mounted recoil performance.
