Current Positions Available

Product Development Engineer

Job Purpose: Directly responsible for patent application, manufacturing process development and new product testing.  Represent the company’s values when providing engineering support in the product development process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparation and prosecution of patent applications
    • Conduct background and prior art searches
    • Draft specifications and prepare reference drawings for patent applications
    • Provide technical expertise during invention evaluation
  • Manufacturing process development
    • Develop robust manufacturing processes for new products
    • Create robust manufacturing processes by developing innovative and unconventional tooling & fixturing strategies and leveraging advanced CAD/CAM software to efficiently utilize Multi Axis Mill-Turn capabilities.
    • Develop and document manufacturing processes with thorough procedure sheets for production
  • New product testing
    • Develop methods and equipment to evaluate product performance
    • Collect and analyze test data

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or similar education.
  • 5 years or more experience in thermal and fluid dynamics.
  • 5 years or more experience in patent writing
  • Proficiency in technical writing required
  • Proficiency in solid works or equivalent CAD system required
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in machining operations required
  • Basic knowledge of acoustic engineering desirable
  • Experience with Labview programming desirable
  • Possess a strong reasoning and mathematical ability
  • Must work well in a team environment with an outgoing personality and the ability to notice and help co-workers
  • Requires a high degree of responsibility, time management skills and flexibility
  • Willingness to think outside of the box and remain flexible to meeting shipment demands
  • Must be able to use basic measuring devices to include but not limited to calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc

Production & CNC Programmer

Job Purpose: Directly responsible to produce machined parts.  Represent the company’s values when programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and when maintaining quality standards, safety standards, records, equipment, and supplies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Programs mills and lathes using CAD and CAM software to entering instructions, zero and reference points, setting tools, offsets, compensation, conditional switches.
  • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Assist General Shop Production Personnel in a variety of duties.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities.
  • Documents actions by completing compliance, production and quality logs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Certification in higher education.
  • 5-8 years or more of experience in CNC machine operation and programming.
  • Must be able to learn and adapt to new processes and operations.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks that require manual dexterity to assemble and package pieces together quickly and accurately and be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds .
  • Work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, vibrations, and hazards associated with working around moving machinery.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

  • Proven ability to listen carefully and follow instruction.
  • Ability to remain patient and polite, particularly when mentoring or being criticized.

Customer Service Representative

Job Purpose:  Directly responsible for acting as a liaison between the customers and the company. Represent the company’s values when answering phone calls and responding to e-mails.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and handling promptly and efficiently customer concerns.  This will require sales order recording, fulfilling, shipping, and invoicing
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
  • Investigate customer’s challenges and find solutions.
  • Provide backup support for all areas of customer service personnel.
  • Pack orders according to company procedures and ship product.
  • Make contact with current customers using phone, e-mail, internet, and other outreach means to maintain existing customer base and develop new customers.
  • Attend and assist in the planning of trade shows and events to sell and promote products.
  • Learn our ERP system for customer services and sales.
  • Assemble kits for the air products.
  • Be aware of and track supplies as they are used up.
  • Assist in continual and annual inventory for all products, as necessary.
  • Assist in the update of product catalogs, in store displays, direct mailings, and product packaging.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Certification in higher education. An equivalent combination of education and or experience would also be considered.
  • Commitment to company values.
  • Able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time and lift or move up to 50 pounds .
  • Basic computer application knowledge to include but not limited to MS Office products.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
  • Proven ability to listen carefully to and understand a customer’s situation.
  • Ability to remain patient and polite, particularly when dealing with a challenging customer.
  • Must work well in a team environment with an outgoing personality.
  • Works with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

General Shop Production Labor

Job Purpose: Directly responsible for production and assembly of product. Represent the company’s values when assembling and producing product while maintaining quality standards, safety standards, records, and equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and maintain quality standards during production using work orders, blueprints, specifications, machining parameters and assembly instructions.
  • Operate CNC and manual machinery to include lathes, mills, grinders, saws, presses, welders, thermal forming, and foundry equipment.
  • Maintain quality with the use of measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, indicators, comparators, and various gages.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities.
  • Document actions by completing compliance, production and quality logs.
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available and anticipating needed stock

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Certification in higher education.
  • Some Mechanical Experience, 1 to 5 years preferred.
  • Must be able to clearly read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Be proficient in the use of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, comparators, gauges, etc.
  • Be able to learn and adapt to new processes and operations.
