DESCRIPTION
EFAB (Enhanced Flash Arresting Brake)
Combines superior muzzle control with effective flash suppression even on barrels as short as 10 inches. Patented EFAB technology uses an innovative configuration of diverging expansion nozzles to both diffuse and cool combustion gases resulting in maximum recoil reduction with minimum concussion to the rear and sides of the shooter. Closed bottom reduces dust signature when shooting prone. Precision machined from heat treated 416 stainless steel with an advanced Ionbond® high temperature CrCN coating for extreme durability. Features pilot hole for permanent pinning to bring 14.5" barrels to legal length.
Caution: Do not use crush washers with this product.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When selecting a caliber for one of our muzzle devices, the correct choice is based on your cartridge's actual bullet diameter. For example; if you have a .300 Win Mag, you would select a 7.62/.308 muzzle device. This is because the bullet for that cartridge is a .308" diameter. For a more detailed explanation and examples, check out our Caliber Fit Guide
At 16", the EFAB has a marginal advantage in both flash suppression and recoil reduction compared to the AFAB. When measuring barrels at 14.5" and below, the EFAB has a substantial advantage, and maintains that performance down to about 10". Therefore, we recommend the EFAB for most applications utilizing SBRs, AR pistols, and bullpups. However, the EFAB can absolutely still be used on a 16"+ barrels if you want the most performance possible between the two.

EFAB
Have the EFAB on 3 rifles now. Won’r run any other hybrid muzzle device anymore.

EFAB Excellence
The quality and design of this thing is superior to anything else I have seen to a ridiculous degree. I am a CNC and manual machinist by trade and I cannot believe they can sell this thing for such a low price! The amount of machine time involved in all those little shapes is staggering. These guys must be putting a lot of money into excellent machines, tooling and machinists to make these with any kind of efficiency. Even then I can’t believe they make hardy anything selling these. I have not used it yet but I have every confidence I will find all their claims true when I do.

EFAB HYBRID 5.56 X95
Re: IWI X95 EFAB upgrade Application. EFAB HYBRID is Faaaaar better than the A2 birdcage from the mfg... The EFAB stopped squirrely muzzle movement. It was an expensive yet effective upgrade. Along with "Shooting Site x95 spring" ? The two upgrades made the X95 a very comfortable, flatter, and a lower mechanical BCG recoil based platform. Highly recommended...

EFAB
While these are marketed as hybrid devices, they are by far my favorite recoil reducing brakes. They are loud, but there is very little concussive report from these devices. Easy to shoot all afternoon, even with big magnums.

Best brake that actually hides flash
I now own two EFAB's and one AFAB. The EFAB works amazing on my shorter 10.5" and 14.5" barrels. Brakes well, acts as a comp, and provides almost zero flash. My AFAB is on a 18" build and works great as well, but these EFAB's work better for shorter builds. You can't find a better hybrid device period, the machining and promised performance of these check all the boxes.

EFAB Brake
It works! Got .308/5.56 both kill the flash n reduce recoil. First brake ive seen that does this 100% Be my choice on any future build.

I am buying a second one
This works. Very good flash hider and a brake. It is louder than just a flash hider, but no concussion. Bottom line, am buying a second one for my other rifle.

Functional Flair
Pricey, but worth it. There are probably better device options for a specific desired function (flash suppression only, concussion only, compensation only), but I don't think you'll find anything better at doing all 3 very well. Works as described.

Efab
Installed the EFAB on my 10.5 Mk18. Works very well compared to the original A2. Reduction of shooter blast, recoil, & muzzle rise was very (very) good! Flash suppression is as good as A2 in cloudy overcast daylight. Occasionally catch a whiff of gas when firing but not much. Very happy with the EFAB!
