THERM-A-LUBE™ nC™
DESCRIPTION
Extreme Temperature THERM-A-LUBE™ nC™ Suppressor Grease
An extreme temperature lubricant for demanding suppressor & machine-gun applications; THERM-A-LUBE nC™ (Nano-Ceramic) suppressor grease combines a high fraction of ceramic solid lubricants with nanoparticle technology for continuous protection from -40F - 2400F. For use on all mating surfaces of suppressor & machine-gun components, including threads, mounts, taper interfaces, endcaps, baffle assemblies, recoil boosters, pistons, bolts, locking lugs, slides, barrel assemblies, pins and fasteners.
Benefits
- Extreme temperature resistance (-40 to 2400°F) makes THERM-A-LUBE grease ideal for use on suppressor threads and other metal-to-metal interfaces (muzzle brakes, flash hiders, & suppressor mounts)
- Solid lubricants resist gas blowout for continuous long-term performance
- Embedded nanoparticles form a protective barrier against adhesive fouling
- Marine-grade synthetic carrier grease stays put in wet environments
- Non-metallic composition for general and galvanic corrosion protection of all metals
Application
- For best results use foam tip swabs. Lightly dip then roll against a flat surface or scrape against inner rim of container until entire foam tip is lightly impregnated with THERM-A-LUBE grease producing a dark grey yet semi-dry appearance. It is only necessary to apply a VERY THIN layer approximately 1-mil thick onto surfaces being treated. For first time applications, or severe use applications where components are subjected to red-heat, or long periods between disassembly, a more liberal quantity may be applied to both mating surfaces.
NOTE: Excess lubricant will smoke-off during initial high temperate exposure >700F, however the Nano-Ceramic particle layer will remain intact and continue to build over multiple applications, requiring less frequent applications unless lubricant is completely removed by aggressive methods such as ultrasonic cleaning.
