DESCRIPTION

Three large axisymmetric baffles, each featuring five helical ports, redirect a massive volume of gas away from the bore axis in a counter-clockwise radial direction. This not only provides maximum recoil reduction but also reduces the torsional recoil force associated with heavy bullets and fast twist rates. High tolerance class-3 threads machined in same operation as bore aperture ensures perfect concentricity; this combined with a progressively decreasing baffle thickness and maximized venting area significantly reduce bullet flight disturbance resulting in less yaw, higher BC, and improved accuracy. Computer FEA optimized for maximum strength to weight ratio and impact survivability. Precision CNC machined from high strength HTSR 400-series stainless steel bar for superior heat and corrosion resistance. Offered in either an ultra wear resistant DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) matte black finish, or stainless steel in-the-white, matte finish.

This muzzle brake is designed to fit 5/8-24 threaded barrels and can also be modified by a qualified gunsmith to fit larger thread diameters (up to 3/4" or 18mm).

M41 Spanner Wrench recommended for easy, mar-free installation and removal of muzzle brake. Does not require any shims/washers for installation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When selecting a caliber for one of our muzzle devices, the correct choice is based on your cartridge's actual bullet diameter. For example; if you have a .300 Win Mag, you would select a 7.62/.308 muzzle device. This is because the bullet for that cartridge is a .308" diameter. For a more detailed explanation and examples, check out our Caliber Fit Guide.

Measurable performance between the M11 and M41 is very similar. Both will drastically reduce recoil, as well as mitigate muzzle rise. As for features, the M11 has a closed bottom which will prevent dust and dirt being kicked up after every shot. The M41 however, is radially ported which will exhaust gases in each direction. For bench shooting this won't matter much, but is something to consider if shooting prone. Because of its top ports, the M11 will need timed properly to ensure the they are oriented correctly. Conversely, the M41 simply needs torqued to spec - no specific orientation required.

    Incredible Brake!

Posted by Mongoose on 26th Aug 2023

I’d read the claims, now I’ve felt the proof. This brake capped my rebuilt AR10, and here’s the fact - The M41 made my .308 feel like a .223, in terms of felt recoil - my shooting partner had the same impression. Truly amazing what this kind of quality and engineering will do.

    M41 severe duty muzzle brake

Posted by Howard Olson on 2nd Feb 2022

I tried several different muzzle brakes before the M41 on my Savage MSR .338 federal. Not only did this design knock down the considerable recoil from the .338 but accuracy improved. Looking at the other brakes I tried, I suspected their designs were interfering with bullet flight. After installing the M41 severe duty brake groups tightened from about 1.5 inches to sub moa. Mission accomplished. A bit loud but this is shooting not golf after all!

    Awesome

This is an awesome brake. The machining and finish is some the best I’ve seen. I have it on a Howa 1500 heavy barrel in 6.5 CM in a M40 Bell and Carlson stock. Honestly recoil is prob less than an AR. You can easily watch your shots.

I built a bolt action in .338 Edge with a Carbon Fiber Proof Research barrel and a Carbon Fiber stock in the hopes to keep the rifle lightweight. The rifle is shooting a 300gr. SMK at 2900fps, which generates substantial recoil. By installing the M41 Severe-Duty Brake the is rifle very easy to handle, even after an extended afternoon on the bench. Accuracy is sub-MOA. This is my second brake from ya’ll, keep up the good work.

100% believer. I purchased this for a Bergara HMR Pro . Finish is about perfect with the HMR Pro barrel finish. I get tons of comments at every match. After having some firearms issues, I “thought” those issues were being caused by the muzzle brake(discovered that was not the case), I purchased a different company’s brake/compensator. I installed the other company’s brake and groups opened up more than I like. Re-installed the Precision Armament and groups are 0.33? 5 shot group at 100 yards using factory ammo. I was more than 1 MOA at 100 yards with the other company’s brake. For accurate, I am 100% convinced that the M-41 is a must.

Great muzzle break! I have had this break on my 300 Win Mag for 2 years. Prior to installing the break I could not stay on target to watch the shot, not a problem with the break. No real world numbers, but recoil feels reduced by 45 to 50 percent. Fit and finish are excellent. Easy to clean. Highly recommend.
